Who says a Bum can't be a Genius?

For those of you who don't know.... Dan and I have decided to bypass the world of disposable diapers and delve into the world of cloth diapers! My Mom looks at me like I'm an absolute nutcase for even entertaining the idea. But you know what? I highly doubt our landfills need any more filthy diapers and that our wallets care to pay for them! I know people who are spending as much as $40 a week on diapers. That's $40 a week for something to dooty in and throw away! So, we're taking the plunge with bumGenius 3.0. I know multiple people who use these cloth diapers and swear by them! Because of their convincing testimonies, I figured we'd give it a shot!

Forget the images of prefold cloth diapers that you have to fasten with huge safety pins! Look at this incredible transformation! They look like regular disposable diapers (but come in cute colors, of course). Everyone I know who uses them says they don't leak like disposables do, either! Granted, a few have experienced a leak here and there... but when you hear the horror stories of leakage from disposables, I can handle here and there. Also, this one diaper can fit little Savannah from her infant to toddler years! You can see in the photo how one diaper can accommodate various sized children. Holla!

I am really excited to use these, can you tell? Just a couple extra loads laundry a week keeps diapers out of the landfills and keeps money in our wallets.

The greatest part of all.... my fantastic mother-in-law purchased 24 of these (the perfect amount!) for us!!! The initial investment for these diapers is substantial (but nothing like what you'd spend on disposables over time!!) and to receive them as a gift is a huge blessing (everywhere I turn we are being blessed with this baby!). So here we go....
