This, that, and a contraction.

I've been promising photos of both the bathroom remodel and Savannah's nursery for some time now. I finally took some (not so good) snapshots of both to share.

This is what I came home to after the baby shower... a big mess! But we ended up gutting the rest of it, and put all new fixtures in! This is what it looks like now:
I wish I had a "before demo" picture, but I don't. Just picture a completely outdated bathroom with yucky, yucky tile on the floor and walls.

Little Savannah's crib :)

The other side of the nursery with her jam-packed changing table

In the other corner you can't see we will soon have a nice glider to
lull our baby girl to sleep in.

I feel as though the nursery is still a work-in-progress, but that's OK. I painted the fruits of the spirit on the walls (patience, goodness, kindness, peace...) instead of purchasing pictures and such, so the walls are pretty plain. But it was cheap decorating! :) At least you get somewhat of an idea what the nursery is going to look like!

I had my last doctors appointment today. Savannah is technically due tomorrow, but I'm pretty certain she won't be on time! If she doesn't come on her own (which I really hope she does), I will be induced either this Friday or Saturday (we schedule it tomorrow - then I'll know for certain). She has been as ready as she can be for about four weeks now, but I haven't had the hormonal shift yet that brings on the true labor contractions. I'm ready when she is!!!

After my doctors appointment, my wonderful mother came over to help me clean my house. I have been too exhausted to clean it well lately (and when you have a Great Dane in a small house... if you don't keep up with the cleaning, it gets gross FAST!). We worked for hours and the house is now shiny and clean!! I am so appreciative of her help. Tomorrow we are going to plant flowers in the beds out front (now that we think we've had our last frost). I can't wait to have the flowers planted!!!

I'll keep everyone updated - it won't be long now!!
