Pie. Ear Infection. Pictures.

Two weekends ago we got a very special visit from the Pietrocini family :) Dan and I met Stacy six years ago at Young Life camp (where Dan and I met), and haven't seen her since! We lost touch over the years, but she and I reconnected and sparked a 'new' friendship when we were both pregnant with our little ones at the same time! We were SO excited for their visit.... and SO bummed when I was sick the entire time!! (and now.... they are all sick, too! Horrible!!). Despite illness, we all had a good time and enjoyed everyone's company, conversation and things unique to St. Louis. We visited places like the City Museum and ate yummy food like Imo's Pizza and Toasted Rav's and had Ted Drewes Frozen Custard! We can't wait to see them again - especially when we are all healthy and can truly enjoy our time well!!

Since they left, we have all been battling the "sickies". I've had a terrible sinus infection. I missed two days of work and barely finished out the week afterward. I'm still recovering. Dan is fighting a bad cold. Savannah, poor baby, is still fighting her cold, has had diarrhea for the past two days, started throwing up today.... and feels terrible. My Mama and I took her to the doctor today to find out she had a left ear infection, too :( Poor critter!! It's moments like this I really, really wish I was home with her. But, it helps knowing she is at least in my Mama's arms while she's sick if she can't be in Dan's or mine. We just pray she will get better very soon!

Dan's parents come this weekend to visit and we are really looking forward to that. I just hope that we can all get some good rest and to feeling better before! I'd hate for our second visit to be spent not feeling well, also! And maybe the sun will decide to come out, too! Pictures to come... I'm sure.
