Nicknames

There's this unwritten rule that you can't "assign" your own nickname, right? Well, I think thats stupid. There are so many cases where people don't care for the nicknames they are given. I can give you plenty that my husband was given growing up that he downright despises. I was never given any I hated, but none that were really all that fun, either. "CJ"? Yah, those were my initials. Whooooo.

Savannah has more than she can count (well, she can't count yet.... but you get my point). Savvi, Banna, Bannadu, BannaGrace, BG, Booger, Turkey, Critter, Nugget..... the list goes on and on. Its really whatever we feel like calling her at the moment. I wonder what will actually end up sticking with her.

Now... back to not being able to assign your own nickname. I'd like to assign my own. "Courtney" gets boring. I liked "Cojo", but it doesn't work anymore considering my maiden name is no longer.

I'd like to petition a change to "Coco". Questions? Concerns? Violent objections?

Very well then. Coco it is. Thank you very much. Now, if only my last name were "Chanel".... I'd be RICH!!
