Last night the "winter storm" started, bringing a few inches of snow and a bit of ice to St. Louis. Dan, being the great husband he is, shoveled the driveway to put my car in the garage, while I ran around with Addie. (I wanted to help shovel, but he wouldn't let me). Of course, almost every school was called off from school for today. The precipitation has quit for now, but it expected to be back tonight for a second round! Normally a snow day would be fun, but when you're unemployed and are at home everyday anyway, its just another day. I did bundle up and take Addie outside to play for awhile though. She absolutely loves to romp around in the snow! She nuzzles the snow, eats it, tosses it with her nose and runs around like a maniac. She can be so entertaining!

we didn't get snow here, but we got lots of ice so they cancelled school/work. we were lazy all day and spent the time cuddling with the pups! :)
