Savannah has had a problem with being gassy from the beginning. The poor baby isn't content for long unless she's sleeping or being held upright. Bowel movements bring on lots of crying and I've been through lots of Resolve cleaning the rugs from her vomiting. Her pediatrician started her on Pepcid two weeks ago, but it hasn't helped. You can tell she's still uncomfortable and hurting. So, today I called to let her know how its going and she prescribed Prevacid to try next. I really hope something helps my wee one! Hopefully if I am very careful about what I eat and starting her on the new meds will help! The poor baby is fussy all day and even more so at night. At least the reflux doesn't keep her from sleeping at night! We all need time to "recharge our batteries"!
Oh! And an update from my previous post - she has taken the bottle three times in the past two days! She took an ounce the first two times, then only about a half an ounce this last time before she started screaming.... progress! Hopefully it'll continue and the bottle won't be a problem anymore! :) YAY!
