This weekend Savannah and I hit the road and went to Louisville, Kentucky for a family reunion. Daddy stayed home to be with Addie and work on his homework and we missed him very much! We woke up at 4am on Saturday morning, went to my cousin's Rick and Diane's house, and were on the road with them by 5:15am. Savannah was so good on the way there! It was a five hour drive and she did it like a champ! She didn't do so well once we got there though. The poor baby had really bad gas and reflux all afternoon :( Despite Savannah not feeling good, we got to enjoy our family and some amazing southern cooking! YUM! After the reunion we went to see cousin Edith and Savannah smiled and cooed at her the entire time!! I'm so glad she felt better for that short hour to put on a show for Edith! We then started our drive back to St. Louis with my Mama. Savannah was fussy for the rest of the evening but once she fell asleep in the hotel room she slept until almost 8am! Maybe our next road trip (to Ohio for a wedding!) will be better for her. This reflux hasn't been fun :(
