When Savannah was born, my neighbor gave me a beautiful burp cloth (apparently, it exists). It isn't in the picture above, but its what made me love them! Sure, a burp cloth is... well.... for baby to burp and spit up on. But most are thin (meaning, the spit up (or in our case, throw up) soaks right through them), boring and just don't make burping your child glamorous at all. Ok, you can't really make burping your baby glamorous, but you can help the situation out a bit with these! My wonderful neighbor knows a lady who lives within the city of St. Louis, has three kids, and embroiders different items as a way to bring in a little extra cash to support her family. These burp cloths are $10 each (gasp) but totally worth it! Now, I didn't buy these for myself... they were gifts. And they make just that... a great gift! So, if you want to spend $10 on a burp cloth for yourself, great. But, seriously, if you know of someone who is about to have a baby.... don't buy them those crappy and thin burp cloths that fray the second you wash them. No, no. They are most special than that. Give them a cute one! And one that actually absorbs the child's yummy leftovers! :)
That's my sales pitch. If you would like to have one made, let me know. I'll even cover the shipping cost to get it to you. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to provide for three kids (one day I'll find out... and maybe I'll have a talent/skill that will make me some money. Not likely... but one can dream, right?). Take it or leave it. Your choice. But they're cute, right?!
