I like to read and have flown through quite a few books since I got pregnant (ample time on my hands). Lately all I've read are silly chic lit books - you know, food for the mind.
Last week I finished my latest Jen Lancaster read (hysterical!) and needed something new. So, I decide, what would be better than a novel written by MTV's hottest reality TV star?! I did it. I bought Lauren Conrad's first book called L.A. Candy. And you know what? I like it.
After I finish this book I might read something a little more substantial. A classic, maybe. To Kill a Mockingbird. Pride and Prejudice. Something along those lines.
Maybe not. Probably not. Yep... I know myself. Most definitely not.

To kill a Mockingbird is my vote. Everyone needs a little Atticus in their life once in a while. We almost named Ziggie- Atticus instead... how funny.
Read Gone by Michael Grant. Don't be put off by the cover as HarperCollins was clearly not thinking straight.
