Mother's Day

Today is my first Mother's Day!! When thinking about how awesome that is, I started to think about how awesome my own mother is. And her mother. And how thankful I am to have such great examples of what a mother should be. I can only hope and pray I can be half as good a Mom to Savannah as my Mama has been to me (really, she's incredible). To celebrate how wonderful these two women are (and my being a mother for three weeks now), we are all spending time together as a family at my Mama's house. Of course, we'll eat some yummy food and eat an even yummier cake (that part is to celebrate my birthday. Pina Colada cake! YUMM!).

So to all the mothers out there... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! And to Katie Berger.... who is (not-so) patiently waiting for her little one to arrive. Happy Mother's Day to YOU! We can't wait until little S.M.B. joins us in the world!! :)
